"Since nobody else has noticed it, I would like to send my belated congratulations to Reginald Bosanquet for his touching tribute to Lord Avon on "News at Ten". It was a moving and appropriate gesture to wear his wig at half-mast. I only question his apparent decision to take part in a private wake before the broadcast, but I am sure he knows best".
